From the outset, Nirvana Banana has been committed to supporting important social causes, because we think that “treat you better” means more than just making and selling great products. It’s also about how we see our role in the broader community: dealing fairly and respectfully with customers, work colleagues & suppliers – and giving back to help people in the communities that support us.

Creating Opportunities

Nirvana Banana is extremely proud to support Wheelchair Rugby Victoria to grow wheelchair rugby, creating more opportunities for kids with a disability to participate, and help build a strong junior pathway for the next generation of athletes.

Through grassroots programs, Wheelchair Rugby Victoria is raising awareness of the sport, welcoming new participants, and giving emerging athletes the chance to discover wheelchair rugby in a supportive, inclusive environment.

We’re getting right behind this wonderful cause as part of our long-term program for giving back to the community. 

Donations

To date, Nirvana Banana has donated an Interactive Reflex Training System to the Victorian wheelchair rugby program, helping junior athletes access more support to take part, build skills, and experience the confidence that comes from being involved in team sport. The system will test and improve reaction time, agility and cognitive processing for participating athletes.  When you enjoy your next Nirvana Banana you’ll be contributing towards our further financial support, helping Wheelchair Rugby Victoria to give kids a chance to participate and develop their skills.
